Word Formation Exercises 1

Learn new vocabulary and become familiar with English words and how to modify them by adding or removing certain affixes (suffixes / prefixes) to form adjectives from nouns, adverbs from adjectives, verbs from adverbs, nouns from verbs or the other way around. Although there isn't really a general formation rule that always works, once you have had enough practice with them, it gets easier to intuitively guess different forms of a given word even if you don't know the meaning of it.
